Welcome to our weekly, Small Business Monday feature, where we’ll quickly highlight some important facts and trends that small business owners need to grow their local service businesses.

This week we’re boosting sales with some last-minute Labor Day promotions!

What to do when you’ve forgotten about the long weekend…

With the upcoming holiday weekend coming up, it’s important to capitalize on the promotional ideas that come with it. Don’t go into a panic, you’ve still got the rest of this week to come up with some fun ways to bring more customers through the door!

Time for some last minute planning…

Take advantage of the upcoming fall season and be sure to send out some email campaigns to your existing (and prospective) customers about your current sales and promotions for Labor Day. Email marketing is one of the most effective direct marketing tools that you have at your disposal.

Offer some special deals that coincide with the end of Summer…

Have you got some service packages or series you’ve been looking to sell? Start selling them at a special price this week and call it your end of Summer sale! Push out some of the old inventory you may have been looking to get rid of and make some space for the new!

Sell a “Back to School” bundle that has you ready for everything related to the coming months.

Packages and series are a great way to promote customer loyalty and help to keep your customers coming back to your small business!

Got any good last minute ideas of your own? There’s always time to take advantage of the long weekend so don’t waste another minute!
