We both know that you offer phenomenal beauty services, top-of-the-line products, and probably have the most friendly, experienced staff in town – but do your clients know it? You could own the best salon on the planet, but if no one knows your salon exists, what does that really do for you?

Facebook advertisements or post promotions are targeted. So, for example, anyone who shows interest or ‘likes’ beauty industry related pages will be shown your advertisements. 3. Advertise on Local Listing Sites 

When new potential clients search for salons in your area to get a quick cut, you want to make sure that it’s your salon’s name they find. The days of the giant yellow phone books maybe behind us, but these directories have taken to the digital age and hold a major presence online.

People use popular listing sites such as Yelp to find all types of businesses these days. So, you want to make sure that your salon is listed on local listing sites in order to get your companies name out there. People using local listing sites are searching to spend their money, so paying to promote and advertise your salon on a local listing site is a smart and effective way to drive additional awareness and potential new customers to your salon.

4. Create a Salon App

We live in a new age – a mobile age. According to an article released by the Huffington Post last year, “if you aren’t optimized for mobile you’re ultimately losing sales.” No truer words have ever been spoken. People constantly have their eyes glued to their phones, so that’s obviously where you want your advertisements to be. 

In today’s mobile market you need more than just a mobile friendly web page, consider implementing a branded mobile appointment app for you salon. A salon app is a great way for you to advertise your salon’s services to the expanding mobile customer.  

Your branded salon app will not only help build your salon brand and recognition, but will allow your advertisements to be visible at all times. With the implementation of a salon app, you’re advertising your business to clients on the train, waiting in line for coffee, picking up the kids from soccer practice, wherever.
