Plan Ahead to Save Time on Facebook for Your Yoga Studio

Yoga time-saving tips Facebook post scheduling

Reaping all of the business benefits from social media doesn’t have to be time consuming. In fact, you can achieve a great level of success on Facebook in just one hour each week! One hour of focused time and energy can help you generate an abundance of interaction, engagement, and results from your online audience.

You’re a yogi. You need to be spending your time offline and interacting with your students in person. If you’re spending too much time behind the computer, you’re missing the chance to interact face-to-face with your audience, which is hands-down the most important aspect of your business. But that doesn’t mean you can ignore online interactions.

These two tips will give you tools to stop wasting time on Facebook so that you can spend more time doing what you love.

Tip 1: Write All Posts a Week in Advance

Instead of forcing yourself to come up with something interesting to post online every day, pick one day at the beginning of each week dive into your creativity and write all of your posts. I actually write all of my posts on Sunday night for the following week. Using this tactic ensures that even if life gets busy, you will always have useful, relevant, and valuable content to share with your audience. Writing your posts in advance also removes overwhelm from social media. If you plan ahead of time, social media does not have to be on your mind every day. All you will need to do is login every couple of days to reply to comments and questions.

Tip 2: Schedule Your Posts in Advance

Did you know that Facebook Business Pages allow you to schedule your posts ahead of time? This means you can upload your posts directly to Facebook, select a future date and time, and Facebook will send the post out to your followers without you needing to be online. This feature is currently only accessible to business page users. Users with a personal profile can simply copy, paste, and post if you plan ahead as described in tip 1 above.
