The holidays are a wonderful time to reinvigorate your class schedule with some special seasonal offerings. Whether it’s an asana practice that encourages the body and spirit to embrace the changing weather, one last outdoor session before the weather turns, or a meditative workshop around Thanksgiving, there are so many ways to give your students an extra special practice.
To identify what types of holiday classes you might add, start with your talented teachers and their expertise. You may find that some of your teachers have additional interests and talents that you can tap into during the holidays. For example, wellness practices, musical performances, or culinary skills could provide a nice complement to a regular class.
Another way to approach seasonal scheduling is to offer classes around major holidays. A few ideas:

- The New Year is a great time to hold a variety of seasonal events to welcome current students back and make new students feel welcome. You can offer a New Beginner’s Series in January for newcomers who’ve finally decided to step onto the mat for the first time as a result of their New Year’s Resolution. For regular students. offering a special workshop on how Ayurveda can help you improve your overall wellness in the New Year can be a great way to bring students together after holiday travels.
Some of your offerings are ideal for single classes; others may require a multi-class series or a longer workshop. You can create all types of different curriculum for your studio, including:

No matter what kinds of holiday classes you decide to offer, be sure to use email marketing and social media to invite your students. Every event you hold should be well-attended! Make it as simple as possible for students to register by including an online booking link for each class or series and streamline the check-in process by allowing students to pre-pay with series, memberships or saved payment methods. Encourage your instructors and students to share your special classes with friend, family, and followers on their social media channels as well.
