Email marketing can be one of the most effective channels for local fitness businesses—but only if used correctly.
It's not enough just to send messages to your client base with an offer when business is slow. In order for offers to work, you first have to build a relationship with customers that establishes credibility and trust. Only then will your email recipients give your offers real consideration.
In this video, fitness guru Bedros Keuilian shares a few pointers on building a successful email program for your fitness business. Here are a few of his top tips:
- Build your email list: Add between 3-20 people to your list every day using a free content download or other incentive to join.
- Deliver valuable content at least once a week: Recipes, fitness tips, and industry trends are all great options.
- Use case studies to sell new trainees on your services: Inspire prospects with success stories from some of your current customers.
- Position yourself as an expert: Show that you know your fitness niche inside and out, and potential clients will be more likely to sign on with your studio.
