This week we’re facing a summer slow down...
What to do when the summer heat is getting to you…
...find new ways to beat the heat. With the summer season officially kicking off, you may have been noticing a slight slow down in your business. The summer brings more than just beautiful weather, it’s also a time for people to be out and vacationing and enjoying time with their friends and family. That results in a considerable cool-down of bookings for service-based businesses.
So what’s a small business to do when it comes to fighting off the slow days of the summer?
What to do about the bored employee that’s about to fall asleep…
...it’s time to put everyone back to work. Make sure you’re taking advantage of the times you’re not busy with customers and start gathering useful information about your existing customers. By collecting testimonials, customer case studies and reviews, you’ll be able to gain a more positive reputation online and even start garnering greater customer loyalty.
What about the employee that can’t stop socializing…
...if you can’t beat, join ‘em! The summer is also a great time to spruce up all of your social media channels and make sure everything is up to date. Start by trying out new tactics for getting new followers to your pages and work on getting your posts out there. Don’t forget, you can always use your social media accounts to push out your promotions and specials!
