These 5 Nail Art Trends Are Fire 🔥

arm with painted rainbow nails with watchSummertime is officially here, and you know what that means—fresh, colorful and creative nail trends are starting to heat up the fashion scene. We all know the dawn of a new season can give clients a much-needed push to switch up their style when it comes to their nail art. After all, clients tend to be a bit more daring when it comes to experimenting with nail hues and designs because it’s a commitment-free way to spice up their everyday look.

It comes as no surprise that nail trends change from year-to-year and season-to-season, so we're here to fill you in on some of the hottest nail art that your clients may want to polish their digits with this summer.

Take a look at these Booker by MINDBODY customers that are keeping up with summer's five hottest nail trends.

1. Let's get tropical.

This summer, we're ready to go HAM for more Toucan Sam... especially on our nails. The nail artists over at PAINTBASE gave this client a tropical look perfect for a beach vacay or a day at the pool. And let's be honest here, sipping a piña colada looks just a little bit cooler with festive nails like this.

2. Fun in the sun with flamingos. Oh, and a llama.

Flamingos could quite possibly be the official logo for summer—and the nail masters at Olive & June even threw a llama in this awesome design... because why not? We're loving this colorful animal duo with a pale blue backdrop to make those pinks really pop. Something else we're completely obsessed with? The fact that Olive & June has some of their products available at most Targets right now!

3. Tone it down with a neutral hue...with a twist.

Sometimes a nail trend is so good that it can last throughout multiple seasons—but this season we're adding a matte finish. The “no-nail-art” nail art continues to top the client request list again this season, as proven by tenoverten’s effortlessly chic manicure pictured here.

4. Who needs fireworks when you have sparkly nails?

What’s more festive for summer than a design that mimics a 4th of July sparkler? Paintbox created this neutral, yet eye-catching design that is perfect for those backyard celebrations or a beach day. Consider yourself the queen of the glitterati when you're rocking these nails.

5. Be mystical and magical on the beach.

Don't blink... or you might miss out on this nail trend! The masters over at MylkBar really know how to keep their eyes peeled for all of the latest nail designs...and this had us seeing stars. It would be hard to come by a nail art aficionado that isn’t willing to experiment with a mystical design like this one.
